Isaiah Chapter 1 & 2

Jonathan Pennington walks through Isaiah chapters 1 and 2, explaining the historical setting of the prophet's ministry to Judah and Jerusalem and God's rebuke of a people who honored Him with their lips while their hearts were far from Him. He warns against going through the motions in our service to God and against the idolatry of worshipping the works of our own hands. The message looks ahead to the millennial reign of Christ as a time of learning, growing, working, and serving, and to the day of the Lord when the pride of man will be brought low and the Lord alone exalted.
