Public Ministry
Paul Pierucki · April 12, 2026 · 12:15 PM service
Pastor Pierucki preaches on Paul's testimony to the Ephesian elders that he taught publicly and from house to house, and applies it to getting the gospel out today through tracts, signs, John and Romans, Bibles, street meetings, and door knocking. He works through a series of verses on not being ashamed of Christ, from Mark 8 and Romans 1 to 2 Timothy and 1 John, and reminds hearers that the devil fights every effort to witness but that joy follows obedience. He shares his own testimony of being saved after someone handed him a tract, and encourages believers that they do not have to preach to have a part in sowing the seed.
“And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church. And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”
