Jonah 1-4

Jonah

Paul Pierucki · July 19, 2026 · 10:00 AM service

Pastor Pierucki walks through the book of Jonah verse by verse, showing that no one can flee from the presence of the Lord and that disobedience always carries a cost. He draws out the picture of Christ in Jonah's three days in the fish, warns against false religion and work salvation, and calls believers to obey the Spirit in witnessing and to keep a right heart even while serving God. The message closes on the mercy of a God who knows everything about us and still saves us.

“Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night: And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?”
Jonah 4:10-11 (KJV)
