In this Bible Institute session, Pastor Pierucki teaches on so-called problem texts in the Bible, giving fourteen reasons God included passages that people claim are contradictions. He shows that God is not the author of confusion and that apparent difficulties are cleared up by studying context, comparing scripture with scripture, rightly dividing the word, and depending on the Holy Spirit. He defends eternal security and salvation by grace apart from works, and closes with a warning against false teachers who twist scripture for money and self-glory.
“And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”
